Absences are neither refunded nor reported to the following semester. You have the possibility to make up for any missed classes by joining the class the other evening.

You are responsible for having personal liability insurance.

In this first level class, we work around the connexion with the dance partner, our mutual non-verbal understanding, the embrace (abrazo), some dance technique and the fundamental tango moves. At the end of this class the latest, you’ll feel comfortable dancing in milongas (tango dance events) knowing the rules of the milonga (a set of rules on how to behave on the dance floor for a respectful milonga).

We recommend to follow this class so as to discover the basics of tango. At the end of this class, you can choose to either repeat level 1 (which is often recommended as it gives you more time to learn) or then to continue with a level 2 class.

For those finishing their beginner’s class in the middle of the semester (in April or November), it is possible to join a level 2 class at that moment.
